Grand Ledge Community Recreation is a non-competitive program administered by the high school athletic department for children 3 years old through 5th grade. There are no tryouts and no traveling is required. Players are assigned to a team based only on their age and school (if possible). Coaches and referees are all volunteers. Typically, all youth teams have one practice during the week and one game on Saturdays. Practice day and location are picked by the coaches at the coaches pre-season meeting. Practices are typically held at Hayes Middle School or Delta Center Elementary. Games for 3 years old – 3rd grade are typically held at the Grand Ledge Community Stadium Turf. 4th-5th grade games are typically held at Boughton Field. Grand Ledge Community Recreation offers soccer in both the Fall and Spring seasons.
