We’re excited to share some great updates from the Grand Ledge Soccer Club! Our focus remains on helping players grow, supporting our coaches, and strengthening our soccer family both on and off the field. The following changes will be starting in the summer of 2026!
Here’s what’s new:
Program Enhancements
We’re rolling out new tryout structures to give every player a fair and positive experience, along with improved player placement so athletes are competing in the divisions that best fit their development and skill levels.
New Coaching Requirements
To create the best learning environment possible, we’re updating our coaching requirements across all age groups. These include options for higher certifications, continued education, and a clear focus on player-centered development.
New Website for Coaches and Parents
We’re thrilled to announce our updated club website, designed to make it simple to find what you need. Coaches will have easy access to club schedules, policies, and resources, while parents can find registration details, updates, and communication tools—all in one place!
Registration Fee Update
Beginning next season, there will be a modest increase in registration fees ($120 -> $150) to help support our program growth, facility maintenance, and enhanced coaching resources. This adjustment ensures we can continue providing high-quality training, equipment, and experiences for all our players. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we invest in the future of our club.
Jersey Updates
We’re excited to reveal that new jersey styles will be launching soon! The updated designs will reflect the spirit and pride of Grand Ledge Soccer while offering improved fit and performance. The old jersey styles will still be able to be worn next season along with the new styles so you won’t be required to purchase new jersey kits if you don’t need them. Additional details, including ordering information and timelines, will be shared during tryouts this summer!
Reminder
Beginning with the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 soccer season, most youth soccer leagues across the United States will transition from the current birth year (January 1 – December 31) to a new format based on the school year (August 1 – July 31). Grand Ledge Soccer Club will be transitioning to this new format for next season.
